Our Adoption Journey Begins!!!!

We are venturing into adoption from Uganda! We will be bringing home a child under the age of 4, because Uganda requires one parent to be 21 years older than the child. We are so excited that God has lead us in this direction. We know that it will be a long process of lots of waiting, and lots of money!!! But, we know that God is so faithful to provide! He has already been providing so much for this adoption journey we are beginning on! The application was sent off today. We should be hearing back in the next 5 days about the status of our application!!! To begin the Home Study, we have to raise $1500. We are in somewhat of a hurry because it must be completed by April/ May when Johnny deploys. Here's how you can help: -PRAY!!!! This is the most important! It is going to be a long journey full of ups and downs (from what I hear)! But when we see our precious child's face it is all going to be SO worth it!! - If you are in the Hattiesburg area, Johnny is a master cheesecake chef! We are selling them for $25 and they are YUMMY! -TSHIRTS! The T-shirts are $20. We can ship them to you out of town folks! You can go to my Facebook page to see what they look like! -Sponsor a puzzle piece! We are going to sell them for $5 a piece. When the $5 is given, we will put your name on a puzzle piece. When we bring our child home, he or she will see the puzzle with all the pieces put together and see how loved and prayed over he was before even coming!!
